Great American Restaurants is seeking a Pastry Chef / Bakery Manager for our Best Buns concept. Best Buns features hand-crafted artisanal baked goods, fresh sandwiches and salads, renowned made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, and the best hospitality in the business. Our production team is fast-paced, detail-oriented and high energy. As our Pastry Chef / Bakery Manager, you are responsible for leading, developing and coaching a team of 18-20 production employees. You will also be responsible for creating weekly schedules, managing food and labor costs, inventory and ordering, and working hands-on with the team to consistently produce our artisan breads, rolls, laminates, cakes, and cookies. The position reports to the General Manager, and is a tremendous opportunity for a bread master well experienced with artisan breads and managing teams to lead a successful, high volume bakery.
